Lucky Doggette

Went to Sam's Club yesterday to get such essentials as laundry detergent, vitamins and olive oil. Spent way more money than anticipated because such lovely little add-ons popped up and begged to come home with me.

Two bundles of dried contorted willow, $2.10 each, just what I needed to bulk out the tall pussy willow arrangement in the floor vase.

Ahi tuna for dinner, the Engineer was jubilant.

A twelve pack of Pellegrino for $12, totally unnecessary, but it's meant to be a little raspberry to a snooty relative next time she visits and implies that I ain't got no class.

The piece de resistance was not the box of three garden amaryllis and 45 hardy glad bulbs, it was the box of 10 Safari calla bulbs for $7.88. My toes are curling in joy!

As an aside, it's turned cold here again. It was 93 degrees Tuesday, and has been in the 50's and raining (yay, horray!) the last couple of days. Alta got 17 inches of snow yesterday. Geeze o' pete!
