As far as the * markings go, some of them weren't fun reading, but they made me think -- which is the best thing a book can do for you.

Catching up on your blog this morning... we've read A LOT of the same books! Perhaps that's why we're such good friends. Please don't meme me. Then I'd have to admit a soft spot for trashy novels, too!
